I’ve been MIA lately! I’ve been wanting to update this blog and upload my photos for forever but I’ve just been so busy lately with work and by the time I factored in gym time and cooking my meals I didn’t have too much time leftover to play with. I’ve been studying for the GRE test, catching up with Private Practice & Mad Men via Netflix
and reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo book. Oh! and I’ve been playing lots of tennis! All things I considered worthy enough to be lazy about blogging.
What I’ve learned about myself when I don’t blog is that there were times when I would go 5-6 hours between eating and on some days I wasn’t eating enough calories or getting in a variety of foods or the opposite – days where I probably had too many calories! I didn’t do any of this on purpose it was just poor planning on my part. This has absolutely caused a set back in my weight loss attempts. Ughhh. So knowing this – I’m going to TRY to start back blogging and keeping a record of my eats so I can see visually where I’m lacking and if I ever needed to talk to a doctor about my nutrition I can show him exactly what I’ve been doing. I’m happy to report that I’ve still refused to eat fast food and I’m still soda free going on 16 months now! yay!
Saturday – April 24th – Today we are having rainy, tornado type weather here in Alabama. I stayed out late last night so I slept in until 11:30 snuggling with my doggie.
Breakfast: (special treat) I made me and my Mom some stuffed french toast. I stuffed it with a mixture of cream cheese, nutella and strawberries.
then I mixed up a pumpkin spice latte. I’ve spent the rest of my morning reading in my book and contemplating going to the gym. Haha. I guess I should go. I’ve only been 3 times this week, so I better wrap this up and head out there. Thanks blog for inspiring me when no one else can!
